Stowlog speaks at PSS Innovation Event
Stowlog participates in the Ports Skills and Safety Innovation Event in Portsmouth

Stowlog participated in the Ports Skills and Safety Innovation Event held in Portsmouth, a key gathering for industry professionals focused on advancing safety standards and innovation across the UK port sector.
The event brought together port authorities, terminal operators, safety leaders, and technology providers to explore new approaches to improving HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices in increasingly complex and digitalised port environments.
As part of the agenda, Alazne Oiarbide, Product Owner at Stowlog, delivered a keynote session highlighting the importance of digitalising safety and security processes within port-logistic facilities. Her presentation focused on the limitations of traditional manual workflows — such as paper-based inductions, fragmented contractor management, and lack of real-time visibility — and how these challenges can impact both operational efficiency and risk management.
Alazne also shared practical insights on how digital tools can help ports move towards a more proactive and data-driven safety model, where processes are standardised, traceable, and integrated into daily operations. The session resonated strongly with attendees, reinforcing the growing need for solutions that connect people, processes, and infrastructure in real time.
Throughout the event, the Stowlog team engaged with industry stakeholders, exchanging perspectives on the future of port safety and the role of technology in enabling safer, more efficient operations.
Stowlog’s participation in the event reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting the port industry in its transition towards smarter, more connected, and safer operational environments.
