Valencia, Spain – May 2026

Stowlog recently participated in a strategic innovation event organized by Opentop, the open innovation hub of Valenciaport, and PIER71, Singapore's leading maritime innovation ecosystem. The event brought together port authorities, innovation leaders, and tech companies from Europe and Asia to explore opportunities for collaboration and technological advancement in the maritime and port logistics sector.

Held at the Port of Valencia in a hybrid format, the event served as a platform for knowledge exchange between two internationally recognized innovation ecosystems committed to accelerating the digital transformation of ports and logistics facilities.

As part of the projects pitching session, Stowlog had the opportunity to present its platform and share how digital workflows can help port-logistics facilities improve safety, security, compliance, and operational efficiency. The session gathered representatives from both ecosystems, including innovation teams from Valenciaport, PIER71, and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), as well as members of the wider port community.

The event highlighted the growing importance of international collaboration in addressing the challenges facing ports worldwide, from operational resilience and supply chain continuity to workforce safety and regulatory compliance.

For Stowlog, participating in this initiative reinforces the company's commitment to supporting the digitalization of critical port infrastructure and engaging with global innovation ecosystems that are shaping the future of the maritime industry.

"We strongly believe that innovation thrives when different ecosystems come together to share knowledge and experiences. Participating in this event allowed us to connect with key stakeholders from both Europe and Asia while showcasing how digital safety and security workflows can contribute to safer and more efficient port operations," said Pablo Aguirre, CEO of Stowlog.

The event also showcased the increasing international recognition of Opentop as a hub for open innovation in the port sector and highlighted the shared vision between Valencia and Singapore to foster collaboration between tech companies, ports, and industry stakeholders.

Stowlog would like to thank Opentop, PIER71, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, and all participants for creating such a valuable environment for collaboration and innovation.

As the company continues its international growth, initiatives like this play an important role in strengthening connections across the global maritime ecosystem and advancing the adoption of technologies that support safer, more secure, and more efficient port operations.
