St. John’s, Antigua & Barbuda – June 2026
Stowlog has successfully concluded its participation in the European Union's Global Gateway Investment Mission to the Caribbean with a final stop in Antigua & Barbuda, marking the end of a highly productive programme that brought together European companies, public institutions, port authorities, and industry leaders from across the region.
The closing event took place at the Antigua Port Authority, where stakeholders from the maritime, logistics, and transportation sectors gathered to discuss the future of Caribbean ports and the opportunities that innovation, digitalisation, and international collaboration can bring to the region.

Throughout the day, Stowlog participated in a series of meetings and exchanges with representatives from several Caribbean islands, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and priorities facing port operators as they continue to modernise their infrastructure and operations.
As part of the programme, Stowlog presented its vision for the digital transformation of port safety and security, highlighting how digital workflows can help ports improve operational efficiency, strengthen compliance, enhance workforce safety, and increase resilience in an increasingly complex operating environment.
The discussions confirmed a growing regional interest in adopting modern technologies to support the next generation of port operations. Across the Caribbean, port authorities are actively exploring ways to improve productivity while ensuring that safety and security standards evolve alongside infrastructure investments and growing cargo volumes.

For Stowlog, the mission represented a unique opportunity to engage directly with decision-makers, understand regional priorities, and contribute European expertise in the digitalisation of critical operational processes.
The company would like to thank the European Union for its trust in selecting Stowlog to participate in this important initiative. The mission has created valuable opportunities to establish new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and explore future collaborations that can support the development of safer, smarter, and more resilient ports throughout the Caribbean.
Stowlog also extends its sincere appreciation to the Antigua Port Authority for its warm hospitality and professionalism throughout the event. Special recognition is due to Darwin Telemaque, Chief Executive Officer of the Antigua Port Authority and Chairman of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC), for the excellent organisation of the day and his continued leadership in promoting innovation and cooperation across the Caribbean maritime community.
As the mission comes to a close, Stowlog looks forward to building on the relationships established during the programme and continuing to support the digital transformation of the region's ports through innovative solutions focused on safety, security, and operational excellence.
The Caribbean is entering a new era of maritime development, and Stowlog is proud to be part of that journey.
