LCB1 – LCMT Group
Enhancing port safety and visibility through digital HSSE workflows

Client: LCB1, LCMT Group (Laem Chabang, Thailand)
Challenge: Paper-based visitor and induction processes, and lack of real-time visibility of personnel inside the terminal
Solution: Visits Management module, Safety Induction module, and Geoposition module
LCB1, part of the LCMT Group in Thailand’s major port hub of Laem Chabang, was operating with** fully manual HSSE workflows**. Both external visitors and internal employees were registered using paper forms, and all safety inductions were conducted manually without centralized digital records. This created inefficiencies, delays, and inconsistencies across departments.
However, the terminal faced an even more critical challenge: they had no real-time visibility of where people were located inside the facility. In a high-traffic, safety-sensitive environment like LCB1 — with trucks, contractors, employees, and operations running simultaneously — not knowing personnel movements significantly limited situational awareness and risk prevention capabilities.
To address these issues, LCB1 implemented three key modules from Stowlog:
- The Visits Management module, which digitalized all visitor registrations and allowed the terminal to approve, track, and manage external personnel efficiently.
- The Safety Induction module, enabling all users to complete tailored safety training digitally before coming on site, with full traceability of completion and expiration dates.
- The Geoposition module, providing real-time tracking of all Stowlog users inside the terminal through a live map — allowing supervisors to monitor movement, ensure safety compliance, and respond quickly in case of incidents.
This combination of modules gave LCB1 an integrated and powerful HSSE ecosystem designed for full operational visibility and improved control over movements inside the facility.
###Benefits Delivered
- Elimination of paper-based procedures, improving accuracy and reducing administrative burden.
- Centralized digital safety inductions, ensuring every user receives the correct training before accessing the terminal.
- Full real-time visibility of personnel, enhancing situational awareness and operational safety.
- Improved emergency readiness, with live location data available instantly in the event of incidents.
- Better coordination between departments, thanks to unified digital workflows.
- Stronger compliance and traceability, with all visit and induction records stored securely.
- Enhanced safety culture, reducing risks associated with lack of visibility and manual processes.
LCB1’s adoption of Stowlog marks a significant step toward a safer, more digital, and more controlled port-logistic environment — setting a strong example of innovation within Thailand’s rapidly growing maritime sector.
